Kavachi interprets the concept of intimacy, touch and queer love and examines the complex intersection of sexuality. The textile pieces depict our connection with nature, wild forests and cosmos through a shared radar of looking and finding one another. Anonymity and the feeling of otherness, which are associated with these genderfluid figures in the compositions, intensify the sense of a felt solitude within nature. His works take us on a ride that fluctuates between the fear of solitude and the felt exhilaration of the richness, complexity and the unexpectedness that nature evokes within us.
