Kavachi interprets the concept of intimacy, fluidity, and queer love and examines the complex intersection of sexuality in his recent fabric based works. Presented textile works depict our connection with households, nature, rivers, lakes, and wild forests through the shared radar of looking and finding one another. The anonymity and sense of otherness associated with these gender-fluid figures in the works point to the exhilaration of richness, complexity and unpredictability that nature evokes in us. The works show the diversity of queer experiences within natural landscapes and explore the subjects of transformation and resilience.

I jumped into the grey car
that was parked in front of the blue house
He was wearing running shorts
and I had on a trenchcoat
Where were we going?
To the woods and
The absence of folks
It was sunny
Pinky broken clouds
And the sound of crows
Behind some birches he slipped off his shorts
A Bosnian Boy
Keys with Hollywood lips
Hairy
Moaning Moaning Moaning
Around singing birds.

The piece titled "Good Good Good Boy" is a patchwork of small teddy bears and body parts. It explores the concept of goodness in various aspects of life, such as being a good citizen, meeting expectations, and struggling for existence and freedom. The teddy bear holds personal significance for the artist. When his grandfather bought a Barbie for his sister, he ended up playing with it. When his father saw him playing with the doll, he got angry. However, his grandfather later bought him a big teddy bear, which he cherished and played with. He also incorporates teddy bears in his work to symbolize masculinity and evoke associations with big and hairy masculinity in sexual culture.

The work is based on the childhood memory of the artist. Once upon a time, his grandmother had a free robin flying around her, singing around her. Wherever his grandmother went and worked in the field, this robin accompanied her. This tiny bird with a scarlet scar on his chest attracted to 8 years old Kavachi. And he asked his grandma to catch the robin. She said, ‘No!!! if we catch it, he will never come back…’
One day, she caught the bird for him. They brought it home. Finally, he was able to touch the robin, holding it in his hands. After a while, his grandma forced his hands to free the bird. He went outside and let it fly away… watched till it disappeared beyond the river and it never came back.

The work title, "Just Wait, Maybe Things Get Better!" refers to a waiting which is an artistic practice for the artist. Waiting is a strategy and can be political as well.
